SalesView now offers a new end-to-end sales workflow that replaces the Leads (Classic) tab with three new tabs: Drafts, Leads, and Deals. The existing Orders and Payments tabs remain in place alongside them, unchanged for now.
Drafts
The Drafts tab lists designs saved in the standalone configurator using an email address registered to a SalesView account — this includes administrators, sales team members, network dealers, and suppliers with manager access. Drafts have no associated lead and represent designs that still need follow-up.
My Drafts – designs saved under your own email address.
Sales Team Drafts (admins/managers) – all drafts saved by anyone in your group.
Available actions:
Download estimate – only available if the client has PDF generation configured; otherwise no download option appears.
Open the design in the standalone configurator.
Convert to Lead – add the customer's first name, last name, primary email, primary phone, country, and address, then click Convert Draft to Lead. This creates a new lead in the Lead dashboard with the original design attached.
Delete – removes the draft for your group. IdeaRoom users will still see it (same behavior as deleting in Leads).
Leads
A Lead is created automatically when a design is saved in the configurator using an email address that isn't tied to a SalesView account (as opposed to Drafts, which use a registered SalesView email).
If that email address already exists as a lead for the group, the new design/quote is added to the existing lead instead of creating a duplicate.
The Leads list shows contact info and creation date for each lead, with actions to add notes, create a deal, or delete.
Lead stages
Leads use a new, industry-standard set of stages:
New. A lead that has just entered the CRM and has not yet been contacted or reviewed.
Engaged. A lead who has responded to or interacted with outreach but has not yet been assessed for fit.
Qualified. A lead confirmed to have the need, budget, and authority to potentially buy, and is ready to move toward a deal.
Deal. A qualified lead with an active, in-progress sales opportunity being worked toward close.
Customer. A lead that has converted into a paying client through a closed-won deal.
Nurture. A lead with future potential that isn't ready to buy now and is being kept warm with ongoing outreach.
Unqualified. A lead that was assessed and found not to meet the criteria for a viable sales opportunity.
Not a Lead. A contact that should never have entered the pipeline (e.g., spam, duplicate, or wrong audience) and requires no further action.
Deal and Customer are set automatically in SalesView when a lead has an active Deal or when a Deal is marked Closed-Won.
If a lead carries an old custom stage, it displays as-is but can't be edited directly; clicking it moves the lead to one of the new standard stages.
Note: Custom stages have traditionally been used either as a genuine custom stage or as a note associated with the design. Because of this, if you need help migrating from custom stages to the new standard stages, please reach out to Support.
Lead detail page
Opening a lead shows all of its saved designs and quotes, grouped by reference number (versions are labeled with a dash suffix, e.g. -1, -2, -3). Selecting a design shows design details like the following:
A perspective view of the building
A floor plan
The design hash and reference number
The right-hand panel shows additional lead details, dealer assignment (if you have permission), and notes. Only internal notes appear here today.
Designs and Sales Quote actions:
Send design – opens your email client with a link to the design pre-filled (a text-send option is also available on mobile).
Edit latest design – opens the embedded configurator so you can change size, color, style, and other options without leaving SalesView. Clicking Save changes creates a new version rather than overwriting the original.
Note: Any webhook events that currently fire from the standalone configurator are also replicated by the embedded configurator, so existing integrations continue to work as expected.
Deals
Once a lead is qualified and ready to move forward with a purchase, you can create a Deal to walk through the explicit buying workflow.
Creating a deal:
From the Leads list or a Lead Detail page, click Create New Deal.
Select a design (a default is chosen for you, but you can pick a different one).
Set the deal stage.
Assign a dealer, if permitted.
Optionally, add a note.
Click Create Deal.
The deal opens in the Deals tab. Deals use their own set of stages, separate from lead stages:
Open Quote. A deal in which pricing has been presented to the prospect but no commitment has been made yet.
Design in Revision. A deal where the proposed design or configuration is being adjusted based on customer feedback before finalizing.
Contract Sent. A deal where the agreement has been delivered to the customer and is awaiting signature.
Payment Issued. A deal where payment has been successfully received or processed, moving the sale toward final completion.
Closed Won. A deal that has been successfully completed and converted into a sale.
Closed Lost. A deal that has ended without a sale, whether due to the prospect declining, going silent, or choosing a competitor.
Deal dashboard
The Deals tab opens to a dashboard summarizing all your active deals:
Total pipeline value (excludes closed-won deals)
Needs attention – deals that have stalled in a stage past a set time threshold:
Open Quote – flagged after 14 days
Contract Sent – flagged after 7 days
Payment Issued – flagged after 3 days
All other stages are not flagged today
These thresholds are fixed and not yet configurable per customer.
Closed-won
Average deal size
A time-range filter (e.g., last 30 days) recalculates pipeline value and average deal size for the selected window.
Deal detail
From a deal, you can revise the associated design using the same embedded configurator experience as Leads — Save changes creates a new version.
Note: The revision number is incremented for that reference number, but not all versions may be included in the deal. Because of this, it may appear that a version number is missing or out of order — this just means that particular versioned design isn't part of this deal.
Most deal stage changes are manual, with one exception: checking out directly in the standalone configurator automatically creates a deal and advances it straight through to Closed Won.
Orders
An order is automatically created when a checkout is completed in the configurator. Orders are also created during digital signature workflows, currently in beta.
Payments
The Payments tab connects to your payment processor and displays all payments associated with a deal.
