SalesView supports three user permissions based on the responsibilities surrounding SalesView management:
Permission | Granted Capabilities |
Admin | A user with Admin permissions can manage all users, dealers, and leads. For simple SalesView deployments, granting all users Admin permissions will enable the most flexibility – all users can do all tasks in SalesView.
Note that Admin users cannot be assigned as a lead Owner. |
Manager | A user with Manager permissions can manage users and leads.
If the Manager is assigned to a dealer, the Manager can manage only users and leads assigned to their dealership.
If the Manager is not assigned to a dealer, the Manager can manage any user or lead NOT assigned to any dealership. |
Sales | A user with Sales permissions can manage leads assigned to them. Sales permissions are the most restrictive permission, granting visibility only to leads that are explicitly assigned to the user.
A user with Sales permissions can also access Sales Tools in IdeaRoom, when Sales Tools are enabled for the site.
To assign a lead to a user, that user must have Sales permissions. Manager and Admin users cannot be assigned to a lead unless they also have Sales permissions. |
