Create Style Pages

Learn how to create shareable links to custom building designs using SalesTools for marketing, social media, and customer collaboration.

Updated today

Style Pages let you create shareable links to custom building designs — no save, quote, or checkout required. Use them for website highlights, social media posts, or sharing design options with customers informally.

Note: Style Page links do not capture customer contact information and will not appear in SalesView. They are intended for marketing and inspiration use, not lead generation.

Before You Begin

  • Access to your IdeaRoom configurator

  • Sales Login credentials (required to access Sales Tools)

Steps

1. Build Your Design

Open your IdeaRoom configurator and configure the building exactly as you want it to appear in the shared link — including structure, size, color, and any options.

💡 Tip: Take your time getting this right. The link captures the design exactly as it appears, so the more polished the design, the more effective it is for marketing.

2. Log In to Sales Tools

In the upper right corner of the configurator, click Sales Login and enter your Sales Tools credentials.

Once logged in, the Sales Tools panel will appear in the right section menu panel.

3. Open the Sales Tools Panel

Click to expand the Sales Tools panel if it isn't already open. You'll see it displayed as a tab on the right side.

4. Copy the Style Page Link

Inside the Sales Tools panel, click the Create Design button.

The link will be copied to your clipboard and will also appear in your browser's address bar. It will look something like this:

The string of letters and numbers at the end represents the saved design configuration.

5. Use the Link

You can now use this link anywhere a standard web link works:

  • Website: Feature the design on a product or inspiration page with a direct link customers can click to open and explore it. Rotate designs frequently for fresh content. (See Capturing High Quality Images for Marketing for companion image guidance.)

  • Social media: Pair the link with a high-quality screenshot in a post that highlights a specific design or feature.

  • Email: Share multiple design links in an informal email to a customer exploring different options.

Quick Links do not generate save or quote emails, which means you won't collect customer information as sales leads. Quick Links will also not be shown in SalesView.

6. (Optional) Remove ZIP Code From the Link

If your IdeaRoom site has ZIP code functionality enabled, the link will be saved with the ZIP code used when the design was created. To prompt the customer to enter their own ZIP code instead, add ?ignorezip=true to the URL, like this:

💡 Tip: This is especially useful when sharing links publicly — it ensures customers in different regions see accurate pricing rather than the ZIP code embedded in your design session.

Follow-Up Actions

After creating your Style Page link, you may also want to:

  • Capture a high-quality screenshot to pair with the link → Capture High Quality Images for Marketing

  • Create a saved quote for a customer instead → use the Save or Quote options in the Sales Tools panel

  • Check SalesView for any leads generated from customers who clicked through and submitted a quote

Summary

Style Pages are a lightweight, flexible way to share polished building designs without requiring any customer action. Generate a link from the Sales Tools panel, customize it if needed, and drop it anywhere — your website, social channels, or a customer email.
