Print a PDF version of your quote directly from the designer

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can generate and print PDF quotes directly from the IdeaRoom Designer.

Depending on your site’s setup, you can enable printing directly from the menu bar or on each individual Call To Action Form: Email Link, Submit for Quote, and Checkout.

✅ Enabling PDF Printing

PDF printing must be enabled on your site. To set this up, contact IdeaRoom Support using the Intercom widget in the lower-right corner of SalesView.

Option 1: Enable for the Site

  1. Go to Sites > Site Data.

  2. Open the UI Customization tab.

  3. Set the Show Print Button When column to enable PDF printing to either Logged In with Sales Tools or Always.

Option 2: Enable via Call-to-Action Forms

  • PDF printing can be enabled for each call-to-action form (Email Link, Submit for Quote, and Checkout).

  • When enabled, the Print PDF button will display after the form is submitted.

  1. Go to Product Catalogs > Product Data.

  2. Open the Submit Dialog tab.

  3. Enable the Print Details checkbox for the Call to Action forms where print is desired.

⚠️ Note: This may or may not create a lead in SalesView, depending on your implementation settings.
