Orders and Payments are the final two tabs in Sales Workspace. They're not new — but a couple of capabilities behind them are worth knowing about, even though they're not part of this release.
Orders
An Order is created automatically once a customer completes checkout in the configurator. Orders are also created as part of the digital signature workflow (see below).
Payments
The Payments tab connects to your payment processor and shows every payment tied to a deal.
IdeaPay — accepting payments online
IdeaPay is live today and included at every tier — there's nothing extra to buy. It's powered by Adyen, and it lets your customers pay directly at checkout in the configurator.
You set it up yourself from the Payments tab in SalesView — no need to contact support.
Processing rates:
Method | Rate |
Credit card | 2.9% |
ACH (Boost sites only) | 1% |
Pay by Bank | 1% |
Digital Signatures — available in beta
Digital Signatures is available today, but it's a beta feature — talk to your IdeaRoom contact about enabling it, rather than assuming it's already on.
Here's how it works once an admin turns it on: the contract auto-populates at checkout, or you can send it manually from the Orders screen. The buyer signs right in their browser, or through a secure link sent by email. Once signed, the PDF is stored in SalesView.
A few things worth knowing before you turn this on:
Only the buyer signs — there's no seller counter-signature yet
Your site needs checkout enabled for this to work
You get one contract template per site — no custom PDFs, and no bringing in your own PandaDoc account
It's $0.99 per completed signature
It's not a great fit if you work across multiple dealers or need multiple templates
Going live commercially still needs sign-off from the product team
What's not available yet
A few things are on the roadmap but aren't ready to promise to customers yet:
Collecting a payment directly from a deal record (today, payment happens through IdeaPay at checkout)
Sending a contract for signature directly from a deal record (today, signing runs through checkout or the Orders screen)
Two-party signing (seller counter-signature)
Pay by Link
