If you currently use a "Quote reply-to email address" that does not match a web domain address you own. For example, if you are using a gmail or yahoo account, you will need to make two updates to successfully send emails from IdeaRoom's configurator:
You will need a new email address that matches your website domain. This is a requirement imposed by Google.
You will have to add a few DNS entries to your DNS server to be compliant with the new Google requirements.
If the "Quote reply-to email" address matches a web domain address you own,
You will just need to add a few DNS entries to your DNS server to successfully send emails from IdeaRoom's configurator.
Confirm Email Address Matches Your Website Address
Login to SalesView.
Go to Sites tab.
Go to the Email and Contact section.
Review the "Quote reply-to address" field to confirm if your email address matches a web domain address you own. If it does not, you will need to update your "Quote reply-to email".
If you have the "Quote reply-to address same as contact email" checked, review the "Contact email" to confirm your email address matches a web domain address yo own. If it does not, you will need to update your "Contact email".
Update Email Address
In the Sites tab, update the "Quote reply-to address" with an email address that matches your web domain address.
If you have the "Quote reply-to address same as contact email" checked, you will update the "Contact email" field with an email address that matches your web domain address.
TIP: You can choose to have a different "Contact email" address and a different "Quote reply-to address", but the "Quote reply-to address" must match your web domain address.
Get your IdeaRoom DNS entries
Login to SalesView.
In the Sites tab, select the Verify Email button.
These are examples of the DNS entries you will need to add on your DNS Hosting Provider site. Your records may be custom to your domain, so they may look a little different.
Configure DNS Entries on your DNS Hosting Provider Site
NOTE: You may need to contact the company who manages your website to add the DNS entries.
Login to your DNS Hosting Provider site and add the DNS entries.

If your DNS provider doesn't allow adding MX records, follow this guide to add the correct records.
Once the DNS entries have been updated on your DNS Hosting Provider, go back to SalesView to verify your domain settings.
Verify Domain Settings
After you have added the DNS records to DNS Hosting Provider Site:
Login to SalesView
Go to Sites tab
Go to the Email and Contact section
Select the red Verify Email button
Select the Verify Domain Settings button to verify the update was successful.
You will see a message in red text, if the entries have not been verified.
You will see a green check when settings have been updated successfully.
NOTE: If you see a red message that your email does not contain the values above, wait for some time. It may take a few hours to verify the the DNS entries with some DNS Hosting Providers.

What to Expect if You Don't Take Action
If you are not able to use an email that matches your web domain address, or you are unable to update these DNS entries by Feb 1, 2024, we'll use this custom IdeaRoom email address, βyourdesign@idearoom.comβ, as the sending email address to ensure uninterrupted service.
