The siding materials users can choose for the outside of the building. Interior liner and sheathing materials are managed in the Interior Walls tool.
Exterior Siding is one of the Client Tools in SalesView, found in the left menu under Catalog Editor.
Not available on shed sites.
What you can change
Which siding materials customers can choose
The name, material, and 3D profile for each
The color group a siding uses
Which building styles and roof types it's offered on
Common tasks
Add a siding material
Select + Add siding.
Enter the Name customers see in the configurator.
Choose the Material, then the Mesh 3D profile, if needed.
Choose a Color group.
Select Generate icon to create the image shown in the selector.
Select Add siding.
Limit a siding to certain buildings
Select Edit on the option and open the Visibility tab.
Tick one or more Building styles, and one or more Roof types.
Save.
Leaving either list untouched means the siding is available on all of them.
Stop offering a siding
Select Edit on the option and switch Enabled off.
Good to know
Options here only appear on the outside of the building. They aren't available on interior walls or inside rooms, and the tool sets that for you — you don't need to choose it, and it stays in place when you edit the option later.
