Wall Groups manages your wall layouts — which doors, windows, vents, and accessories can go on a wall, and where each one sits.
Wall Groups is one of the Client Tools in SalesView, found in the left menu under Catalog Editor.

Find the wall layout you want to change
On the Wall Groups screen, find the gating scenario you want — for example Gable 3 · width ≤ 96. Each card lists the components already placed and how many layouts it has.
Select View layouts.
Select Edit layout on the wall you want.
A scenario card reading No components configured still has wall layouts — nothing has been placed on them yet. You can also search by style, siding, or component from the box at the top.
Add a component to a wall
Open the wall layout and select + Add component.
Search for the component under Component.
Under Horizontal (X), choose how its across-the-wall position is measured — Evenly distributed, Percentage of wall, Fixed from start, or Fixed from end — and enter the value.
Under Vertical (Y), choose how its height is measured from the same four options, and enter the value.
Select Apply.
Select Save changes.
The Placement column then summarises what you chose, for example "evenly · 88%" or "50% · 0" from floor".
Move a component
Open the wall layout.
Drag the component on the wall drawing, or select the pencil next to it and enter exact values.
Select Save changes.
Change the order components are listed in
Open the wall layout.
Use the up and down arrows in the Order column.
Select Save changes.
Remove a component from a wall
Open the wall layout.
Select the trash icon next to the component.
Select Save changes.
Stop using a wall layout
Select the trash icon on the wall's card.
Read the confirmation, then select Disable.
Good to know
Evenly distributed spaces a component out with the other evenly spaced components on that wall, and ignores any you positioned yourself — no room is left for them. If you want a component to sit above or below another one, give it a position instead.
The wall drawing is a sketch, not a scale drawing. Use it to judge roughly where a component sits, not to check exact dimensions.
A wall layout applies to a particular combination of style and size. The Visibility tab shows which — it's read-only, so if a layout applies to the wrong buildings, contact IdeaRoom Support.
Disabling a wall layout disables all of its components too. Nothing is erased, but you can't re-enable it from this tool — that has to be done in the authoring data, so contact IdeaRoom Support if you need it back.
Nothing in a wall layout is saved until you select Save changes. Closing the panel with unsaved edits asks you to confirm before discarding them.
Component images come from the component itself, so a missing image is fixed where that component is defined, not here.
